b. Approval of the following budget line adjustments (Action Item):
- Release $4,000 from line 310 (Keep LA Beautiful Grant / Centre St. Widening Project) and move it to line 301 (Community Improvement Projects).
- Move $400 from line 301 (Community Improvement Projects) to establish a new line 410 (Neighborhood Purposes Grants) for a Marymount Student Intern program.
- Move $1,250 from line 301 (Community Improvement Projects) to line 201 (Advertising – Promotional Material) for a new total of $2,500 for purposes of printing a CSPNC Map of Public Transit in San Pedro.
- Increase from $25 to a $30 hourly rate compensation for the Administrative Assistant. $600 would need to be added to line 106 (Staffing and Temporary Help – Administrative Assistant).

b. Further discussion on Motion Re: Authority of HANC representative (James Allen)
(Possible Action Item). See wording of motion below:
The Central San Pedro Neighborhood Council does hereby authorize our duly elected HANC representative to act and vote for the best interests of the CSPNC board on all matters that come before the HANC that cannot be voted on by our board in a timely manner and that necessitate immediate action. These votes must be reported back to the CSPNC board at the very next regular meeting for affirmation by this board. A reckless disregard in representing the board or the unethical use of this privilege for personal gain may result in the removal from the CSPNC board with a simple majority vote of the board at any of its regularly scheduled meetings. This motion shall be added as an amendment to the current bylaws by a majority vote of the board.
